making time for the eternal
"Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish but understand what the will of the Lord is."
- Ephesians 5:15-17

We steward our time well when we make time for things at have an eternal impact. Our relationships with God and others are both eternal. The Scriptures tell us the things that we do and the way that we serve others in this lifetime have repercussions into the next. Make sure to steward your time wisely and make time for the eternal.

Here are some practical ways to make time for the eternal:

  • Spend time in God’s Word.

  • Take time to stop and pray.

  • Reach out and spend intentional time with a family member or friend.

  • Invest time in someone at school or work by sharing about Jesus, listening to their problems, and praying for them.

  • Commit to step in and serve here at Cornerstone.

  • Give financially to support others who are investing in the eternal.
